Hazpro Environmental. A company that has stood as Abatement Leaders on Vancouver Island since 2008. Consistent adaptation and innovation to safe work practices, quality and efficiency of work, and ever-evolving systems to see our projects through to success on every level.

We not only take safety seriously, we take it sincerely. Our commitment to safety, training and education has always been number one and our track record speaks for itself. Our company has, for years, had a “4 Level System” for our workers to progress through on their journey to becoming Abatement Masters. With the reform of the industry on our hands we knew that we had to become a certified trainer to benefit our community of Abatement workers, supervisors and surveyors alike; to show them the Hazpro way.

WorksafeBC has approved the Hazpro “Asbestos Abatement Technician Training Course” Levels 1, 2 and 3.

Level 1, which covers the transportation of asbestos, and Level 2, designed for individuals involved in the removal of asbestos are combined into one course.

The program covers all of the essential information and skills required to identify, assess, and control asbestos hazards in various work environments. Students learn about the properties and health effects of asbestos, asbestos-containing materials, regulations and standards related to asbestos, and procedures for asbestos abatement and remediation.

In addition, we offer a Level 3 Supervisor training course. This course is designed for those overseeing asbestos-related projects and provides the knowledge and leadership skills required to manage such projects in compliance with regulations and standards.
